Dr. Ma’s research centers on advanced energy storage materials and electrochemical systems. Key areas include:

• Design and optimization of      electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

• Safety and performance analysis of      batteries under extreme conditions.

• Development and application of      solid-state electrolytes and related devices.

• Fundamental studies on novel      energy storage mechanisms and interfacial modification.

Supervises 19 Master’s students in Materials and Chemical Engineering, and co-supervises over 10 additional graduate students in the field of advanced energy storage materials and technology.
