王祎博士2013年毕业于吉林大学化学学院化学专业，获学士学位。2018年6月获吉林大学理学博士学位。同年以青年人才引进哈尔滨工程大学，光子材料课题组。2016年10月-2017年10月在德国伊尔默瑙工业大学物理系作访问学生。2019年7月起聘任为硕士研究生导师。作为项目/子课题负责人承担国家自然科学基金（NSFC），省自然科学基金等项目共计8项；以主要技术人员身份参加国家自然科学基金（NSFC），中央高校基本科研等项目8项。从事科研工作以来发表学术论文30余篇。
课题组研究方向围绕纳米光子学领域，包括：
1. Reversible / gradual deformation 2D nanoarrays and its optical properties;
    可逆/渐变微扰的二维纳米阵列及其光学特性
2. Plasmonic 2D nanostructures;
    二维纳米结构表面等离激元特性研究
3. Structural coloration functionalization.
    结构色功能化
