许国冬，湖南衡阳人，教授， 博士生导师。获得哈尔滨工程大学流体力学博士学位与英国伦敦大学院（University College London）机械工程博士学位。目前从事水下/水面航行器动力学分析与建模研究，在水下航行器水动力学与动力学建模、跨介质水空两栖航行器、仿生机器人、水翼无人艇动力学模型与控制等方面展开研究工作。做为负责人承当国家自然科学基金3项，参与国家重大科研项目3项目。已发表国际期刊论文30余篇，获得发明专利授权15项，出版著作译著3部，获省部级科技奖励3项。
