主要从事机构动力学与控制的基础理论与工程应用研究。主持国家重点研发计划子课题、国家自然基金项目子课题、全国重点实验室稳定支持专题、中国空间技术研究院CAST创新基金、天津市自然科学基金、河北省自然科学基金、河北省高等学校青年拔尖人才项目、空间智能控制技术国防科技重点实验室开放基金，机器人技术与系统国家重点实验室开放基金，天津市微低重力环境模拟技术重点实验室开放课题等。担任教育部学位中心硕士学位论文评审专家，《Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part C: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science》、《Transactions of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering》、《Advances in Mechanical Engineering》及《Shock and Vibration》等多个SCI期刊审稿专家。新加坡维泽出版社（Viser Technology Pte.
