Linzhi Wu is a Professor of Mechanics and Materials at Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Prof Wu is a Distinguished Young Scholar of China. Wu’s research focuses on the theoretical and experimental investigation of lightweight composite sandwich structures, including their design, processing, fabrication, structure and properties and in their engineering and industrial applications. Other major areas of interest include micromechanics of composites, fracture mechanics of functionally graded materials, elastic wave propagation and control as well as metamaterials. He has published over 260 research papers and forty national invention patents.
