Faculty Profile

I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology, and my PhD from the University of Bristol, UK (sponsored by the China Scholarship Council). After graduation, I worked as a Research Associate at the University of Bristol, focusing on structural dynamics and passive/active vibration control. I also studied as an exchange student at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I was twice awarded the National Scholarship, and received several honors including the Excellent Master's Thesis of Heilongjiang Province, and the Gold Award for Excellent Master's Thesis of Harbin Institute of Technology. As first author, I have published six SCI-indexed papers (including four in CAS Top journals) and one paper in Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, a leading Chinese journal in mechanics. As technical lead, I have completed five collaborative projects with organizations such as Network Rail (the UK's railway infrastructure manager), Tenneco (a global automotive components supplier), and the UK Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
