Shouxu Qiao is currently an associate professor at College of Nuclear Science and Technology in Harbin Engineering University. Dr. Qiao got his PhD degree in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State, US. Dr Qiao currently teaches 6 undergraduate and graduate courses, and one of the courses is rated as the first-class provincial undergraduate course. His research interests include thermal-hydraulics and reactor safety, two-phase flow experiments and modeling, interfacial area transport modeling, advanced single-phase and two-phase flow measurement, and two-phase flow instrumentation development. He has published more than 40 journal articles in IJMF, IJHMT, NED, ANE and others. He is currently the PI of several projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation, National Key R&D Program, National and Provincial Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the nuclear industry, and received approximately $1million research funding.
